In Shanghai, Atelier 52 translates Givenchy’s architectural heritage into a contemporary, immersive environment. Drawing from the brand’s headquarters on Avenue George V, the design reinterprets classical elements through a modern lens, layering Haussmannian proportions with bold spatial gestures. Throughout, a language of softness and blur defines the experience: frosted lightboxes, diffused transitions, and tonal gradients mirror the velvet finish of the lipstick itself. Iconic shades from the Rouge Velvet Matte collection are embedded into the palette, anchoring each room in rich, saturated color.
At the heart of the installation, the lounge offers a shift in tempo, an intimate space designed for connection and quiet enhancement of the self. Here, architectural warmth meets sensory experience: soft lighting, deep reds, and velvet textures frame moments of reflection and exchange. Whether through a personalized makeup session, a collagen-infused drink, or a shared game of mahjong, the lounge invites guests to slow down and engage in meaningful, tactile rituals.
